What kind of motherboard are you using? You might be able to swap that modest dual-core chip for a Q6600 quad-core one. These components are really affordable—just about $15—and they’ll boost your performance noticeably. Once you upgrade, you could even consider a better graphics card. Edit: but keep in mind, a new CPU alone won’t bring huge gains. That GPU will still be quite limited, and you’ll likely only see around 720p with everything off.
