I noticed I mistakenly shared this in the general chat. Is there a way for a mod to handle this in tech support, or should I just start over?

Hey guys, I recently purchased an Acer Nitro 5 (model AN515-56-79WD) and have been attempting to downgrade it by installing a new Windows 10, since it came with Windows 11 already installed. During the installation process, I encountered an issue where the drive wouldn’t appear (neither in the Windows setup nor in DiskPart). One workaround was disabling Intel VMD, which I tried and... well, the laptop stopped powering on. I now understand that the device includes an NVME drive instead of a SATA SSD as I initially thought. Would installing a SATA SSD help me get the system to boot at all? I’m worried I might end up with a non-functional machine.
