system settings: windows 10 64-bit i9-10850k 3.60ghz overclocked RTX 3080 32gbs DDR4 PCIe SSD Windows tends to crash unexpectedly while I'm using anything, mostly when switching tabs on kovaaks. I executed a chdsk via command prompt and restarted; now Windows freezes during setup or diagnostics. It also struggles to boot frequently freezing at startup, requiring multiple shutdowns before access is granted. I assumed the random crashes during gameplay were related to RAM but replaced what I think is a faulty RAM module, which helped for a while. Currently Windows shows a blue screen with error code SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED, freezes on boot, and if it doesn’t freeze, it attempts an automatic disk diagnosis which then causes another crash. I attempted to uninstall the latest Windows update and it froze as well. I suspect a motherboard problem, but I wanted to reach out first.
