The issue appears to affect your router when you power on your PC.
So in about three-quarters of the time, my PC has powered on for a few weeks and the internet has completely stopped. The connection lights on the router either turn off or change color to orange. When this happens I’m without internet and can’t reach the router’s control panel—it feels like it’s been reset. I have three devices connected via Ethernet (my PC, another user’s PC, and a Philips Hue Bridge) plus many others using Wi-Fi at the same time. I’m on a gigabit plan with Verizon and use a Netgear R6700v3 Nighthawk. I’ve tried several fixes: restarted the router multiple times, removed high-bandwidth programs, updated the firmware, and turned off auto-updates. Please help if you can!
