The internet is stopping due to an issue with the motherboard.
Hello everyone, I’m facing an unusual issue. My internet drops for about 10 seconds during certain activities—watching YouTube videos, downloading torrents, or uploading content on platforms like Twitch or Discord. It only happens in those moments, otherwise everything works smoothly. I can still play 4K videos on other devices and download files without trouble on Steam or Epic. My other computer connected to the same router doesn’t experience this problem at all, and even when I switch devices, everything functions perfectly. The Ethernet cables and router settings haven’t changed, and I’ve tried contacting my ISP, who can’t identify the cause. My thoughts are that something might be wrong with the motherboard I’m using: an MSI B85M-P33 (BIOS v4.2) with an Intel i7 4770 CPU and 8GB dual-channel 1600Hz RAM. I don’t have another motherboard to test, so I’m asking anyone with expertise here for advice on narrowing down the issue.
