Hey there, I’m dealing with the same issue. My ISP is Ask4 and they did some maintenance a couple of weeks back. Even though I’m actually in the UK, Google thinks I’m in Ireland because of my IP address. Recently, even when I searched for "What is my IP location?" it showed Galway, Ireland, but most sites still listed me as being in Sheffield or Birmingham, which are both in the UK. It’s a bit frustrating, but it’s not 100% accurate. Any advice would be super helpful!

VPN? If not, the responsibility falls on your ISP or college, leaving little to no options except creating your own.

They claim no VPNs are active yet, despite recent maintenance. They still request screenshots showing redirection to .ie or European sites.

It might be possible that the ISP manages data across both regions, which could affect how your location is recorded. I’m aware that an LTE connection can sometimes show you in Atlanta, GA even though you’re in a neighboring state.
