I’ve been struggling for hours trying to fit the integrated i/o shield into the case. As a result, I couldn’t secure the motherboard properly, so I removed it and it now fits perfectly. Is it okay if I don’t use it? Or should I attempt to place it outside the case as best I can? My motherboard is a B650 TOMAHAWK WIFI and my case is a NZXT H7 flow.

No shield required, it appears to look rough without one. It seems the price difference is significant. Please share a photo if you'd like.

Attempting to fit it with the I/O shield could damage the board surface. It seems the case should be deeper, but there’s no alternative spot for standoffs. I ended up installing the motherboard without it and then securing it externally using the provided screws. The result looks a bit loose, though the ports still function with the shield attached, just a touch less secure.
