The same problem appeared on my previous Piledriver 8370 model too. Eventually, I gave up because I couldn't locate the correct BIOS setting.
Have you experimented with adjusting the boot settings to eliminate quiet and enable nomodeset?
In the Grub loader, when you're starting up and options appear, press e with Ubuntu chosen. Move to the section labeled "linux" and adjust settings like "quiet" and "splash." Remove the quiet option and input "nomodeset" instead. Press F10 to initiate the boot process.
Additional insights into Ubuntu boot settings are provided. The guide clarifies the function of the nomodeset command.
