You seem to have been working on updating your profile. This usually indicates an issue with creating a proper disk. Consider using RUFUS, as they offer a Mac-compatible solution. It’s reliable and will help set up the drive correctly by choosing the ISO file.

Use the Windows media creation utility on another device. Save the file, launch it, and direct it to the USB drive. It will prepare the drive and enable booting. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/wind...c3b507420d

They don’t have a maximum limit, do you know of anything comparable that could help?

Step 5: Next, just click the "Confirm" option. The macOS instructions are available there. You might also consider using third-party tools such as Rufus. I don’t have personal experience with those, so I can’t add more details. You’ll need to download the Windows ISO file. If you have access to another Windows machine temporarily, the media creation utility will be much easier to use.

He resolved the issue by installing Windows, though encountered the error code 0x800700D during the process.

Error 0x8007000d indicates Windows can't locate a necessary file in the installation package. This suggests corrupted system files or a broken copy. It means your download likely didn't work properly. In a moment I'll provide a link to a USB boot disk utility. This site offers many tools, and I personally use it for locating missing items: https://alternativeto.net/software/rufus/?platform=mac. From what I've seen, Rosa Image Writer and DiskMaker X have worked well, along with others. If those don't help, try re-downloading the ISO from here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/. Rosa seems quite user-friendly—consider giving it a try first.
