It might work, though I don’t know if you’ve already reset the BIOS or handled any of the other steps. Make sure to update the BIOS regardless.

I attempted to adjust the CPU core and cache limits using AI Tweaker, but the interface stuck in auto mode instead of allowing changes.

I hope I can assist you. You might want to search YouTube for MSI BIOS information. I’m only comfortable with Gigabyte and ASRock models from this generation. I do have an MSI motherboard in my daughter’s PC, but it’s an i3 model, so I didn’t dive into details much.

I used an MSI motherboard, the Z390 Pro Carbon AC, and several pins were damaged. I replaced them with an ASUS ROG Z390-E GAMING model.
