The PC now only accepts RAM sticks in B1 and B2 slots. The motherboard is an Asus z170-A with the latest BIOS. The RAM used is an EVGA 3200MHz module. Assistance needed?

I have looked and there is a tiny gold marking but it's even hard to see, it might be that but dam it I have seen people with some scuffs on the pcb and still working like a champ, mine has an increadible tiny spot and it's done
🙁
. Guess I'll have to stick with single channel memory for a bit.

Extremely dangerous to undertake, even seasoned users occasionally face problems with the correct equipment. Reducing temperature by 20°C while under load might appear beneficial, but unless you're pursuing an overclocking record, the improvements in gaming and everyday performance are negligible compared to the possible harm and loss of worth.

My research turned out to be simpler than expected, but in the end it wasn't worth it. I can still use my PC, though it doesn't work in dual-channel mode. The TEMO model dropped by 20 degrees. I'm only disappointed because a friend had more damage to his CPU and it actually functioned properly.
