Why is my CPU getting too hot? It has the correct thermal paste and everything else, but it still performs better than most coolers.

The CPU temperature rises significantly when operating under load at its standard speed.

I was using Arctic Silver 5 both then and now. The paste quantity looked normal, but my temperatures are now at the highest 71°C, whereas they usually stay between 50-65°C. Thanks for the help.

Remember that it's been overclocked to 4.5 now, at 1.34, but I could lower the voltage if needed, though there isn't enough time.
