Hey everyone, sorry for the poor English.
This is my current setup:
processor: i5 6600 non k
memory: asus h170 pro gaming
graphics card: r9 390x tri-x sapphire
ram: 2x 8gb g.skill 2133 cl 15
power supply: evga 850 g2
hard drive: western digital 1tb blue
case: deepcool kendomen ti 5x fan
led: benq 2240he 1ms 1920x080
i’ve used windows 10 64bit and windows 8.1 64 with various drivers, but even with the latest stable driver (15.7), I still experience lag in most games.
It’s strange given my high-end 16gb ram and 6th gen intel i5.
I use a stock cooler, the Deepcool Gamma X400, but I’m hesitant to upgrade because of the thinner CPU PCB.
In some games, like Rise of Rome, GTA V, Tomb Raider, and Home Front, I notice noticeable lag and stuttering.
CPU temperature is around 65-70°C during full load, while GPU stays at 68-75°C.
This is my 3Dmark 2013 screen capture: http://s29.postimg.org/mhkxi92ef/tohr_untitled2.jpg
And finally, why is my CPU core voltage so low?
Thanks all!

hello, have you resolved your problem yet? or examined the cpu voltage? i’d double-check the bios and review some overclock stock voltage settings from an oc guide to confirm the correct values. analyze your system usage with msi afterburner or rivatuner while playing games to see what’s happening with your gpu simultaneously, and verify if you’ve installed the latest motherboard drivers. try using some of the 8.1 drivers, place the cooler on, avoid moving your case, and keep it not too tight. check whether this is damage from shipping stress or if it’s a serious issue that shouldn’t be put on. i can’t see all those games maxing out your cpu to reach full load temperatures anyway—i’d recommend msi.

does it work smoothly before lagging? for a setup like this it would be preferable to use an ssd for your windows installation and rely solely on your hdd for games. however, reset your bios back to the original settings and verify your ram slots match the color. open windows task manager to check if windows anti-malware is scanning processes, which might indicate the hdd speed is being affected by data handling during game loading and system scans. you could also disable pagefile usage since you have ample ram, allowing the hdd to act as backup ram.

Cheapo gamer:
it runs okay at first but then starts lagging. For such a system, using an SSD for Windows installation and relying only on your HDD for games would help. Before that, reset your BIOS back to the original settings and verify your RAM slots match the colors. Check the Windows Task Manager to see if Antimalware is scanning processes—this might point to your HDD speed since it’s handling game data. You could turn off Pagefile usage because you have enough RAM, letting the HDD act as backup RAM.

I keep updating BIOS even though I still experience lag or noticeable FPS drops.
I notice Antimalware is always open in Task Manager but doesn’t use RAM, CPU, or disk resources.
I also changed the CPU power and phase in the BIOS to Extreme settings, but it didn’t resolve the issue.

i apply this configuration in game msaa 2x msaa reflection 4x vsync on antistropic 16x with all settings at maximum without any additional graphics adjustments.

Make sure this isn’t damage from shipping stress or if there’s a real issue that shouldn’t be fixed. I can’t see all those games maxing out your CPU to reach full load temperatures anyway. I’d recommend using MSI Afterburner and increasing the card’s power by 10% on the slider to test it. If you need further help, let me know what parts you’re considering swapping.
