Completed the bio update... The CPU is running smoothly, but what could be causing this issue?

For their commercial gear, they restrict updates and downloads via a service contract fee. That’s why I gave up my soul to Dell. Their support page feels much better.

I prefer Dell but I've also handled some of their older prebuilt models... just random nonsense.

Tried another motherboard, it looks like the i7 is not working at all while the i3 runs properly on my Msi P67A-GD65 (B3). The i7 makes four beeps.

Is the old CPU functioning? Are both processors using the same RAM? From what I understand, the initial beep code was likely a RAM issue. The BIOS on that board has been updated for Ivy Bridge. Easily accessible and thoroughly documented proprietary information! Edited May 13, 2023 by Needfuldoer

It looks like I was tricked into thinking I had the right model when I actually received a different one. It wasn’t an M82, but an M81, and it doesn’t work with the latest generation. That’s a big scam.
