The highest USB ports remain active regardless of the situation. The USB power mode S5 in BIOS is turned off yet provides power. My Blue Yeti works when the PSU powers up, even though the PC isn’t running. This behavior is typical for some motherboards. If it doesn’t work under normal conditions, check connections and power settings.

On page 76 of the guide, adjust the appropriate configuration. Consider modifying it, saving the changes, restarting the system, and then reverting it to Disabled.

It’s possible the setup influences all USB ports and the motherboard includes dual ports with constant power. From the recent boards I’ve used, there are often two such ports for charging devices. I’m not certain, but it seems likely rather than just a few options.

Tested it and it stayed on. Could this affect the microphone if it activates immediately after the power supply connects, especially with the expensive one you have? The empty ports are meant for your USB 3.2 SSDs that provide more stable speeds there. Also, do you know which two back ports connect directly to the CPU?

It's simply USB power. You can always use a USB extension cable, connect it between the microphone and your computer, and disconnect the mic when not in use.

It's similar to the standard 5V when the PC is running, but the data line is turned off. As long as the mic isn't damaged, everything should be fine. I think Blue and Logitech are reliable brands that likely include such safeguards. Right now, my mic and wireless controller are connected, which causes their LEDs to stay on.
