I've noticed this question being asked multiple times, but no one has provided a solution. I'm running Very High with DOF disabled, 120% resolution scaling at 1080p, and the performance seems very poor. Any adjustments or fixes would be appreciated?

It's difficult to determine what the game really is because we're unsure of its appearance. It might depend on the monitor or other factors. Have you tried playing it without adjusting the resolution? Please share some screenshots via image link so others can review.

Right, okay. I haven’t experienced anything like this before, so it’s hard to figure out how to handle it.
The main issue is that certain textures display white outlines that shift with every frame during gameplay.
Here are some images for reference:

I’m not sure if these pictures accurately reflect the texture quality and how bothersome they are.
Perhaps the last image shows just how severe the problem is with the ship textures:

I suspect it might be related to anti-aliasing, but I’ve tried tweaking it using the Nvidia control panel without success.
After reinstalling the game and updating the GPU drivers, the issue persists.
I also checked adjusting the in-monitor sharpening settings, but changing it to a very blurry level makes the screen appear so distorted that I can still spot the problem, making it seem like the game is running at 360p.
This issue is less noticeable when the game is stationary, but it worsens significantly with movement.
Although increasing the resolution to 200% helps somewhat, it becomes much harder to see the problem during motion, yet the game becomes unplayable due to a low frame rate.

What kind of monitor are you using and what connection is active? Have you experimented with different connection methods, such as DP versus HDMI or the opposite? Did you adjust the resolution to the default setting for your monitor? I installed the game to observe the display, and upon checking the ships, they appear identical on my system at the default resolution.

I use an HP 24X (1080p @144hz) with DP. I haven’t tried HDMI because it would cap the refresh rate at 120Hz, and my second monitor uses the only HDMI port on my GPU. The highest resolution on my NVIDIA control panel is 1080p, which seems to be the default for all games. Since you installed the game and you had the same issue, I’m wondering if this might be a problem with Bungie. All my friends have the game at the exact same resolution, settings, and scale, yet they don’t experience this issue. Could it really be related to poor anti-aliasing?

Take out the second screen and inspect it. Also, experiment with various refresh speeds.

No changes occurred when switching to HDMI, and the refresh rate remains unchanged. It seems we're hitting a dead end with available choices.

You are observing aliased lines that can be resolved or reduced using a monitor with a native resolution above 1080p. The simple fix is to apply anti-aliasing or raise the resolution scale, which boosts the actual display resolution from 1080p to 2160p (4k). However, doing so demands greater GPU processing power, so you may need to upgrade your GPU as well if you want consistent frame rates at higher settings.

The issue appears to be with anti-aliasing functionality. It seems TXAA is less effective compared to SMAA, which doesn't make a noticeable difference.
