The HDMI cable was too narrow, so when the TV was switched on it pulled it out of the PC. Now the display doesn’t appear and it vanishes completely.

Uncertain if it's the port or another issue, but it seems to display a black screen and is using an Radeon RX 5700 XT.

Verify it isn't the cable first. Consider using an alternative cable if feasible. If not, attempt to switch to a displayport. Those connections should function even if the HDMI port is faulty. You can purchase HDMI to DisplayPort adapters or cables to make the change and utilize displayport.

I examined the HDMI port more carefully, noticing a noticeable gap along one side that resembles a cut. I’m almost certain it’s the port itself. Changing the cable didn’t affect the outcome. Though it might seem simple, using a DPI port instead would likely cause issues with performance and functionality.

DisplayPort offers superior performance compared to HDMI 2.0. HDMI 2.0 supports up to 18Gbps, while DisplayPort 1.4 can handle 32.4Gbps. Switching ports shouldn't impact your experience.
