I have observed that when I add up the folder sizes in my HDD partitions, they don’t match the total storage capacity listed in Windows 11. I have a primary SSD on C: (231GB) and another HDD with three partitions—D (62GB), E (30GB), and F (57GB). I know there are some MB for the recovery partition in Disk 1, but it seems there are inconsistencies between what I calculated from the folder sizes and what actually appears as free on the PC. I’m confused about why this discrepancy exists across all partitions. Please let me know if you can help. Thank you.

Numerous factors involved
Concealed files/folders
Pagefile
Hibernation settings
Sector dimensions compared to real data.
For example, on your C drive on the left.
Disk storage shows 114GB (122, 381, etc.) The 8GB gap there reflects the distinction between actual data and sectors.
A file of 1k in a 4k sector uses 4k. The 3k difference is that gap.
