Besides the suggestions previously mentioned, explore your available power plan settings in Windows. Ensure the system is configured to use the High Performance profile, then proceed to adjust plan settings by clicking configure plan settings and subsequently change advanced power plan options. When prompted, verify that the dropdown lists the High Performance profile (it should appear after you select it). Adjust the "turn hard disk off after" option to 0. Additionally, review the Processor power management section within the same settings and confirm that both Minimum and Maximum processor states are set to 100%.

Have you set up an app to track CPU, GPU, and hard drive temperatures? If yes, that’s likely the app you’re referring to. Does the hard drive produce any unusual sounds when you run CrystalDiskInfo? Regarding the SMART table, there appear to be no issues. Seagate’s drives tend to be more noisy compared to other brands. Their Iron Wolf models are NAS devices intended for hidden storage in less visible locations. As a result, Seagate prioritizes performance over quiet operation. Do you have warranty coverage with the reseller? Perhaps you could switch to a WD Black drive instead?

I owned a HYTE y70 and turned off the app to test what you mentioned, but it kept running. Also, there was no sound when launching or using crystaldiskinfo. My warranty with Newegg expired roughly a month ago. I didn’t realize the noise until last month when I switched to Seagate and they replaced the HDD. Moving forward, I’ll purchase a budget HDD just to check if it’s the same brand. Never experienced this issue with my other builds. Still, thanks for your feedback—feel free to share any other ideas if you have them.
