Throughout the second section where the character is a child, after a brief pause, my AMD software alerts me about a driver timeout. This is the first time this has occurred and it completely cut me off from Windows while also damaging the game files, forcing a reinstall. I realized that shutting down the computer beforehand prevents further issues but still stops me from playing. My graphics card is a Radeon RX580 and my CPU is a Ryzen 5 2600. I believe I have the latest drivers installed.

Have you attempted to reinstall the game? This can cause issues because it might erase your saved progress. Knowing how to back up data is crucial. It’s likely the issue lies within the saved game file itself.
