I tried using the GTX 780 as a temporary GPU to test compatibility. The display doesn’t show any signal, only a message saying “No signal from DP port.” The Z790 board might be relevant since the card was recently installed. Have you considered checking the connection or trying another setup?

Here’s the updated list with the RX 470 removed and the 780 included.
My OS is Windows 11, home — sorry for missing the details earlier.

Do you have the power cables connected for the 780? Have you tested any of its other ports? Back in 2013, the displayport wasn’t necessarily the main connection.

Both connectors were active, and I attempted to reconnect them again. I also connected an HDMI cable for my second monitor.

Verify if the system is likely using the built-in CPU graphics instead of a dedicated GPU.

Posted right away, though it feels odd. It appeared on my second screen connected via HDMI, but I set the DP to the motherboard's iGPU. In Windows it shows up on both. Any thoughts on how this works?

Do you plan to set up the GPU drivers, or are you puzzled about why they fail without them?

I’m setting up the drivers and curious about what caused it—just checking if anything was missed.

well if it has no primary display connected theres no reason for it to boot. but again.... if you aren't planing on using the gpu with drivers installed then theres no reason to diagnose hardware thats purposely being used incorrectly.
