I'm not sure exactly what happened, but it seems like Asus or possibly Gigabyte's software didn't fully remove itself. It's still partially installed but disabled in services. I wonder if this is connected to the OPs issue, though most of these programs are really problematic. GSKill works fine for me, but it didn't function on my old board. I also noticed it doesn't detect the RAM, even though I think it should. On my previous build, I used OpenRGB to set a solid color for RAM, but now with my current setup, I'm focusing more on RGB themes. This situation is pretty frustrating. V_20221121_2144552.mp4
It might be worth exploring openRGB; it should function well unless your setup uses an MSI chipset. For fan management, consider using fancontrol—though BIOS usually handles that more effectively.
I use the GSkill app to manage the LEDs on my RAM. It generally functions well with Armoury Crate, Corsair iCUE, and MSI lighting controls. Occasionally it fails, requiring me to launch the program again and choose Profile 1 to restore the original setup. It seems the app doesn’t load properly under Windows, though it works when I double-click it. It looks like my hardware might differ from others’ setups. My system includes an Asus Maximus Z790 Hero, an i9-13900 processor, and an MSI RTX 4090 graphics card.
