Hey everyone, just wrapped up my latest build. I faced some issues during setup, repeatedly plugging and unplugging the GPU, but once it’s in, the PCIe latch doesn’t click properly. Was wondering if that’s normal? The PC functions correctly, everything runs as expected, temperatures stay stable even during tests. I notice some sagging with the GPU, which seems typical for a large GPU like the 3080. I’ve ordered a support bracket to install tomorrow, which should resolve the issue. My board is an Asrock Z790 PRO RS, and the GPU is an Asus GeForce RTX 3080 TUF-RTX3080-O10G-V2-GAMING.

The RAM or GPU may not always snap into place, but both ports have these tiny locks you must release before removing them. If those locks seem to be holding the device in place, it’s safe to proceed.

It seems the lock appears to be stuck in the down position rather than up, making it difficult to see clearly.

If you believe the GPU is installed, attempt to carefully assist the lock securing it—perhaps a gentle nudge might be all it requires.
