The GeForce GTX 1080 Ti is consistently overheating, typically exceeding +80°C, accompanied by loud fan operation. Online research has revealed the game’s poor optimization, leaving limited solutions. Concerns exist regarding potential GPU damage from continued play given the high temperatures and standard fan speeds. The system specifications are: Intel core i7-8700k CPU, Nvidia geforce GTX 1080 TI GPU, 32GB DDR4 RAM, 500GB SSD, and a 250GB SSD. Overclocking is not utilized.

The current temperature isn't ideal; the maximum recommended temperature for a 1080 Ti is 91°C. Replacing the thermal paste and thermal pads on the GPU should at least reduce temperatures by 5°C. Additionally, ensure there are no cables obstructing the CPU fans and properly cable manage them if necessary.
