Hi guys!
The title gives a good overview of the situation. Whenever I attempt to overclock my GPU's memory (980ti from Gigabyte), it repeatedly resets to -201Mhz on the sliders in any OC software, regardless of the settings I choose. Only the memory behaves this way; core clock and other parameters are easy to adjust. I use MSI Afterburner and Nvidia Inspector. The issue first appeared in EVGA Precision X, but after uninstalling it and installing Afterburner (which was difficult due to fan setup), it resolved. Nvidia INSP was only used recently to address some AC Unity performance problems. It consistently stays at -201Mhz on the sliders and shows 201Mhz lower in games, though it remains stable. Overclocking to +500Mhz also caused it to stay at that value without allowing further adjustments. This +500Mhz anomaly occurred only once since then, while -201 keeps happening regularly. Is this related to hardware?
EDIT1: I already tried uninstalling the GPU drivers, which helped temporarily but started recurring again after a few days.
Unfortunately, I don't have a clear solution. I'm facing the same issue with my 750ti. I just run at the stock speed and manage it. I can't use the stockspeed either! Setting it to default fixes everything except memory, which remains stuck at -201mhz on the slider.
Unfortunately, I'm not sure how to proceed. I'm experiencing the same issue with my 750ti. I just run at the stock speed and manage to handle it. I can't use the stockspeed either! When I set it to default, everything returns to normal except for memory, which remains stuck at -201mhz on the slider. Perhaps a complete reinstallation would help?

I'm really stuck with the same issue on my 750ti. I just stick to the stock speed and manage it.

Maybe a complete reinstall is needed.
I've tried that already, but it hasn't worked even once.

Can you guess what might have caused it to get stuck this way? What happened before it stopped?

I've tried this before, but it hasn't worked even once. It's still not resolving.
Could you help identify what might have caused it to freeze like this? What events led up to this problem?
The only possibilities I can think of are that I overclocked it and reached its limits. It froze at +150 to the core, so I had to restart the computer. After that, lowering it to +130 gave stability.
I was using two overclocking programs simultaneously (OC Guru 2 – just changed lighting color – and Precision X), but this started after I removed all of them and used only Afterburner.

I've tried that already, not even once. Still no improvement.
Could you help figure out what might have caused this? What events led up to it?
The only possibilities I can think of are: I overclocked it once and checked its limits. It froze at +150 to the core and had to be restarted. After that, I lowered it to +130 and it became very stable.

Did you get Precision X with me?

I can’t use the stock speed either! Setting it to default brings everything back to normal, except memory which remains stuck at -201mhz on the slider.
Maybe a full reinstall is needed.

The only thing I recall is that I overclocked once and checked its limits. It froze at +150 to the core and had to be restarted. After that, I lowered it to +130 and it worked fine.

Did the card come with Precision X?
The software came without Precision X, and the problems began when I uninstalled Precision X and OC Guru 2 and tried to overclock with Afterburner.

Did you get a restore point on that machine?
