Hello everyone, I'm trying to thoroughly clean up my old pre-build from 2013. I encountered this strange retention lever that I haven't seen before online. Pressing it doesn't release the GPU. I've taken out every screw, re-seated it, but it still won't move. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The lever moves in the upward direction – after securing it, simply apply force to the opposite side of the card.

Keep the lever raised (facing the CPU or inside the mainboard) while taking out the GPU.

I just left this note for anyone who might still have this lever setup, though I’m not sure it’s needed anymore. I tried pushing up beforehand, hoping to avoid any damage, but I was worried about breaking something. Just keep moving it for a while—it eventually comes out. Appreciate the advice!
