The GPU remains at a minimum speed of 1300 rpm
I purchased a Gigabyte RTX 4080 Super that runs at zero RPM until 50°C, after which it jumps to 1300 RPM and won’t allow any reduction. It’s very loud and disruptive—any solution you’re looking for?
Your 3060ti from Gigabyte performed well with MSI Afterburner, especially when you kept the fans at a low speed of around 51% RPM. The default fan curve's ramp-up noise was bothersome, but adjusting it helped. If this doesn't suit you, consider using a Gigabyte-specific utility (the name isn't clear) which may offer more precise control over your cards, though it can sometimes have issues.
FanControl typically functions smoothly with NVidia graphics cards; you might also give it a shot. It identifies the lowest fan speed available using the Calibrate feature.
Ah yes, my car's engine also doesn't go lower than 400 MHz. read the title to get it. I always like to keep fans at high. Why don't you want that cooling over whatever little bit of fan noise you get? But as for the problem, did you try the official software Gigabyte provides to control your graphics card? I am not sure if this is the one - https://www.gigabyte.com/Consumer/Softwa...er/global/
The system indicates a low minimum fan speed of 30%, which translates to around 1300 RPM. It seems limited options remain for adjustments.
