The GPU isn't transmitting a signal to the monitor.
I’m just starting out with building computers and recently got an MSI RX580 8GB. When I try to connect it, my monitor shows no signal. It seems to automatically switch to the display port input connected to the GPU, but the old RX560 works fine when I put it back in. My Ryzen 5 4500 AORUS B550 M-600W PSU is functioning properly.
Check the HDMI connection. Does the RX 580 spin up fans during startup? Make sure all PCI-E power cables are securely attached to each port of your RX 580. If the issue persists, it may indicate a faulty GPU, especially since your older RX 560 functions correctly.
I’ve tested the HDMI connection on a separate monitor and received identical outcomes. I’m uncertain about the power cables, but the card powers on and the fans operate, suggesting it’s receiving power. Could there be software-related problems affecting this?
