I own a GTX 1660 super that won’t show anything on the screen. It replaced my RX 570 which also had the same issue—no images and fans not working. I tried removing the CMOS battery, started with just one stick of RAM, verified the cables, and even checked the monitor and other connections, but nothing changed. The CPU is fine, the fans are spinning, but the GPU isn’t displaying anything. I think the PCIe slot might be damaged. Just wanted to note that the 570 booted once before shutting down. TLDR: GPU has no display and fans aren’t starting. Thanks for your help!

Have you connected every power cable? A few images could clarify

Hey there! The details would be great to have. Sharing the precise model and make could help a lot. Also, checking if the build is posting—like seeing the network status or drive activity lights—is useful. Have you ever seen it post before?

The components are a random 450W power supply, an i7-2600k processor, and an ASRock H61M-DGS motherboard. I've got 16GB of DDR3 RAM installed.

I didn't receive any notification. It seems there are four holes near the CPU cooler area on my Mobo. Not sure if that's related to the issue.

During installation, a fresh GPU often appears blank. Many GPUs take time to warm up and spin their fans up to around 55°C. The four openings on the motherboard allow for attaching a CPU cooler. Are you referring to these as extra mounting points?

There are eight cooler mounting slots available—four dedicated to coolers and four for a standard cooler in a slightly altered position.
