Couldn't fit the GPU since it shifts a bit to the right. Removed PCIe cover plates, unscrewed and repositioned the motherboard, but alignment remains an issue.

It all hinges on the specific situation. For a mid-tower ATX, it should work as long as you remove the PCI covers and try to install it properly.

The main issue usually stems from the case and users' lack of familiarity with minor alignment problems. Even worse, taking the board out of the case might help you identify why it's not fitting properly.
