The GPU cooling fan resembles a cricket chirping.
One day my GPU cooling stopped working completely. It heated up to 100°C before shutting off entirely. Someone suggested flipping my PC upside down, which seemed to help move the liquid and restart cooling. After some time it worked fine until a strange cricket-like sound appeared. I thought it might be a fan making an unusual noise, but turning off all fans didn’t stop it. I considered coil whine as a possibility, though I’m not sure. Tipping the PC at different angles stopped the noise and movement, but that also triggered overheating again. Later, while playing a demanding game, the noise returned but was louder. In the morning I tried flipping it again, splashing water around, but it either made the cricket sound or overheated once more. I’m still puzzled because I know the issue is with the GPU cooler and there’s no online solution.
I'm not sure about any leaks yet. It might have an air bubble somewhere. Regarding the cooler, was it a ready-made unit with the radiator included, or did you assemble it yourself?
What gpu? If its old there is a good chance the liquid has evaporated. Easy fix of just cutting a tube and adding a small reservoir
GTX 1080TI is available from a seller who specializes in custom builds, around two to three years ago.
That's not working well. You're damaging your pump and GPU right now. It might be the pump is old—about six years—and that's near the end of its life for an air compressor. If that's true, a new pump plus a small replacement part should work. You'll need a few fittings and tubes, and it should cost under $60 to fix.
