The GPU ceased functioning unexpectedly.
Hello, your problem began yesterday but the situation improved on Friday when you got the GPU back. The device in question is a Gigabyte RTX 2080 Super. You were playing games the previous day, connected via Ethernet, and noticed it stopped working after restarting the PC. Now the GPU won’t display anything at all. I’m unsure what’s wrong—though it was functioning for a few days before suddenly stopping. I tried using it on another computer, but it also failed there. I’m considering whether the power supply unit is the issue, especially since both systems use 550W PSUs. I have a Cooler Master 550W Bronze MWE v2 and am planning to replace it to see if that resolves the problem. If not, I need guidance quickly, as I’ve already spent around £200 and can’t get a refund.
It's feasible, though since it functioned well for two days, it's improbable this is the problem. Do you have built-in graphics available for testing?
I understood that, but it seems the worst case was just my computer slowing down if things got too hot. I didn’t realize it would stop working altogether.
The computer functions properly, but the GPU isn't displaying anything, suggesting it might be finished or malfunctioning.
