Yesterday my machine ran smoothly until it shut down after use. After returning home, the two screens failed to display. I connected the HDMI output from the motherboard, and everything worked properly. The computer emitted a long beep followed by three short ones, then another short sound. In Device Manager it wasn’t listed, but there was a PCI device and a SM bus controller. It seems the GPU lights up but the fans aren’t running. I tried re-seeding the card and re-plugging the power cables. Any suggestions? Or is it completely dead? If so, how did this happen with these specifications—RTX 2070, i7-8th gen, 23GB RAM, TUF B360 board, Windows 11?

Hey there! Check out the forums at https://softwarekeep.com/blogs/news/what...#:~:text=1. It seems like a memory issue might be happening. With the bold claim of 23GB RAM, it looks like your setup could be off. Try connecting one stick at a time in one slot and see if it boots. Test each channel one by one. Once you find a working slot, try the stick alone in that slot. This should help you spot whether you have a faulty drive or something else.

I just tested it, all slots are functioning and recognizing each stick. It’s just a note about the storage capacity—24GB with three 8GB drives. I noticed something unusual about one of them compared to the rest.

Yes, it seems resolved. It should start up now. You might want to run a memory check just to confirm.
