The Google search bar appears to have altered its behavior recently.
On the Google search page, the search bar remains in its original position at the top. If you want it to stay fixed while scrolling, you may need to adjust settings or use an experimental flag to disable changes. Let me know if you'd like guidance on that. Thank y'all
In Chrome the search field doesn't remain visible at the top while scrolling through results. It also appears with a white background behind it. I need the full screen space available. With poor vision, my pages are heavily zoomed in and the XP magnifier stays at the bottom. Keeping the Google search bar on top helps make better use of the available area. Someone might have a solution for this.
NEVER MIND
I disabled the search bar using Ublock Origin completely.
Still able to visit google.com, just click on the bookmarks bar tab.
Applying specific filters to UBO removed the search bar from results.
