The Gigabyte APP Center fails to start.
Hello everyone, I need assistance with the app center and RGB Fusion installation. I've installed both multiple times—usually 4 to 7 times over the past few years—to see if they work. They always install, but when I try to launch them, they ask for permission which I grant, yet they still won't start. I've updated all my drivers and even my BIOS settings. I followed the installation guide from a reputable motherboard source, but it didn't help. The instructions mention going into app center settings, but I can't load that app center anymore. It used to be on the computer, but I had to restart cleanly to remove it. I've also tried running with admin privileges. I downloaded from Gigabyte.com and selected Windows 10 64-bit since that's what I'm using.
I attempted but it doesn’t start the app. It seems the permission prompt isn’t showing “app center” but “rundupd.”
It's strange since I just reinstalled the game and didn't ask for anything. Did you check if your Windows version is activated? Are you logged in as an admin user? You can find more info at the link provided. I also have Winzip installed through that method, but I'm not sure why you're experiencing this issue.
I recently attempted the installation but encountered an issue with my Windows 10 Pro activation. The process seemed to freeze, displaying a generic permission prompt while blurring the interface. Despite having a valid license, I managed to bypass the warning and proceed. You can use WinRAR to extract the file if needed.
