I've faced this problem for a while now. Games often crash or quit to the desktop without a blue screen. It happens unexpectedly, sometimes lasting 3-4 hours or more, and other times it restarts quickly multiple times in a short time. I've tried various solutions: boosting VRAM, a fresh Windows install (without backups), updating RAM, GPU drivers, checking system updates, updating BIOS, and even replacing some memory with higher capacity. I also checked my BIOS version, which is still 2.20 from November 2020. My setup includes an AMD Ryzen 5 5600X, RTX 3070, MSI B550M Pro board, Windows 10 Home, and several components like Corsair RAM and a cooler.
Verify your BIOS version via CPU-Z in the Motherboard section. Memory problems seem likely. Consider disabling XMP and see if the issue resolves. For RAM testing, run PassMark memtest86 to check stability.
