When I start CS:GO, it usually runs smoothly at around 120 FPS on the menu, which is expected. However, sometimes it launches with lower framerates—between 90 and 100 FPS—which feels unusual. When I jump into the game from there, the match becomes very laggy, often capping around 60 FPS, but if I launch directly from the menu at 120 FPS, I see about 100 FPS in-game. This inconsistency is bothering me, and I’m looking for a lasting solution. My quick workaround is restarting the computer, which helps. The issue seems to appear when switching tabs with Alt+Tab, causing the FPS to drop again. I need a permanent fix.

Update your GPU drivers and observe the results. Consider reverting to an older driver if you just installed a new one. If you have an NVIDIA card and GeForce Experience enabled, disable the sharing option and check if the problem resolves.

I confirmed the settings were changed both in the NVIDIA control panel and within the game. I attempted to update and downgrade, but no results. I removed GeForce Experience entirely, yet the share option remains unresolved.
