The games aren't working well on my laptop. The photos show my system specs. I attempted to play several titles—Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Left 4 Dead 2, Counter Strike: Source, CS:GO—but FPS stayed below 30. I adjusted settings to low and reduced resolution without improvement. I also tried CS:GO 1.6 and Brawlhalla, which ran smoothly, yet even they lagged compared to them. Please recommend a solution so my laptop can handle supported games at a reasonable FPS.

It's really impressive how smoothly it handles everything on that laptop. Achieving 30 fps at 720p with that GPU is a solid benchmark.

I experienced 60-40 frames per second in Cod 4 Modern Warfare, 100 fps in Cs, and 60 fps in Brawlhalla. Most games compatible with my system maintained 40+ fps at 720p and native resolution. However, recently these titles didn’t run as smoothly as before. The attached clip is a screenshot of Cod 4 Modern Warfare recorded at 30fps. cod medium.mp4

It seems your system has many processes in Task Manager. Look at the startup programs. With launchers like uplay, steam, and ea running alongside Windows, it could be draining performance. Consider updating your Windows version. Though uncommon, my friend’s laptop started with Windows 8 and faced major problems until he downgraded.

I attempted to end the background app, but it wasn't needed and the outcome stayed the same. Yes, upgrading to Windows 10 worked for me. Would downgrading help? Appreciate your response.

I don’t believe it will work. However, there’s a chance performance could improve. Nothing assured.
