Hey there, I'm facing some issues with games like CSGO on my system. Despite having a powerful setup, I only manage around 120-140 FPS on the new cache map, and even Mirage caps at 200 FPS. Others with similar cards are hitting 500 FPS. Is this 7800x really that problematic, or is there a fix I can try? Alongside this, I can play Battlefield 2 at max settings with 150% resolution and still get over 144 FPS. I've reinstalled Windows, removed and reinstalled display drivers using DDU, but the performance remains poor. Help would be really appreciated.
Have you experimented with boosting the CPU clock rates? CS:GO runs on a single core.
The 4.4 GHz frequency seems adequate for achieving high FPS in CS:GO.
I managed to reach the CPU speed of 4.6 GHz just to check, but my performance remains average.
