I assembled my PC at the start of October and it functioned properly for roughly a month before problems emerged. I can’t boot up any games without it crashing silently, and Discord won’t install or launch even after setup. I swapped the RAM and SSD, but nothing resolved the issue. Now I’m close to giving up—I can stream media easily but can’t play games or use Discord. I’ve tried fixing Windows via Event Viewer and consulted Microsoft, Discord, MSI, and Geek Squad, yet no one helped. I just want to use my machine as intended: an Intel i9 14900K, MSI Z790, Tomahawk Max 7900XT, DDR5 6000MHz, Corsair 1200W PSU, PSU 990 Pro, AIO 1TB SSD, WD Black 2TB.

It might be the SSD failing. Check the Crystal Disk Info to assess the drive status.

The crashing issue continues with both old and new SSDs, even after reinstalling Windows. It seems the problem isn’t resolved. This appears to be a complex situation.

Execute Samsung Magician to assess the 990 Pro drive. Open an admin terminal and run sfc /scannow.

If the system freezes while starting games but works fine during browsing, check the graphics card first. There might be power or temperature concerns with the 14900K unit.
