Several titles, including Black Ops 6, Ghost of Tsushima, and Resident Evil 4 Remake, failed to launch after increasing my RAM. I examined the system memory and confirmed no faults. Windows didn<|pad|>'s report no issues with RAM, yet after the 24H2 update Secure Boot wasn't enabled. Despite this, games like Cold War, MW2019, and Bodycam ran smoothly. I attached a screenshot and a crash log from Resident Evil 4 Remake to clarify the crash reasons. The hardware specs are listed below:

- ASRock b760-c I5-13400F
- Nivida GeForce RTX 4060
- 32GB DDR5 RAM at 6000MHz
- 600W Gold power supply
- 2024_1024_1339.zip

Check the configuration settings to confirm if XMP is disabled or enabled.

6000 isn't that high, but it's still worth testing without it enabled. You might have hit a bad luck streak and your CPU's memory controller isn't functioning well. It's possible the issue lies elsewhere, not just with the memory upgrade.

Did you fill the RAM according to the motherboard instructions? Were the correct slots used? Did you insert just one more stick or swap both? Is the stick you added identical to the original model?

I swapped the existing RAM stick for the new TEAMGROUP T-FORCE VULCAN DDR5 32GB (2x16GB) 6000MHz units in slots 2 and 4. The issue with Xmp remains unresolved, and the crash report from Resident Evil 4 Remake keeps appearing. It’s a bit confusing to navigate the changes.

You activated XMP through the BIOS settings, which is normally disabled by default. It was a pre-built feature, not something the motherboard automatically applies. You may need to reset it by disabling, saving, rebooting, and then re-enabling.

I turned off XMP and set the profile to auto, then switched it back to my original settings. This only slowed down the RAM speed a bit. Everything seems to be functioning properly now. I think the issue might be related to the operating system. It’s likely my GPU driver is not set up correctly, especially considering it was installed with only 16GB of RAM. There could be a bug in the driver causing problems. My computer is running much better now, and I’m achieving 165 FPS in some games. Unfortunately, the games I want to play are still experiencing crashes.
