Hey, I’m facing some really tough issues with this game since I started playing. My frame rate is only about 20 to 40 FPS, which is already pretty low, but it’s even worse when I run the game with the lowest graphics settings and no extra mods. I’m quite puzzled by this and would really appreciate any advice—my PC specs are: Intel Core i7-9700k, 780 GTX, 8GB DDR3 RAM. Any suggestions could help me understand why I’m having trouble running it smoothly, especially with such capable hardware. It’s starting to get frustrating.

And it's still not working well, could be that my setup isn't sufficient?

Your CPU performs quite well, though your GPU seems a bit outdated—it should still handle the game smoothly at around 60 frames per second, especially if you lower the graphics settings. I’m a little worried about your RAM; is it DDR4? The DDR3 version isn’t compatible with this CPU and motherboard. Could you share your current CPU and GPU temperatures while they’re running, along with how much each is using? Also, what resolution are you playing in?

Could you clarify what you mean by "other games"? Are you asking about how different games function on your setup, or something else entirely? Let me know so I can help!

You're checking the game's resolution settings and confirming your monitor is connected to the graphics card port, not the motherboard.

You can play Arkham Knight, Evil Within 1, and The Witcher 3 on medium and high hybrid settings.

It seems the game is performing poorly on your setup. Running it at 1080p in a vast, empty area causes around 40 frames per second, but in towns packed with NPCs it drops to about 20 fps.
