your csgo stopped working after a black screen, and you're having trouble finding a solution. you've already re-downloaded the game and checked the cache, but you're running at high specs—what's going on? anyone have any ideas or fixes for this issue?

Yes, that's the sole choice available.

Have you attempted to reinstall your GPU drivers? Also, check if your hardware runs at its default performance and observe the results. Start the game with no extra background tasks running. Clearing any CS GO associated registry files could be beneficial. Ensure other applications and games function correctly.

What operating system are you using? I needed to install CSGO as a Windows 8 compatible version on my device.

It happened a few months ago when I had to reinstall the game, update my drivers, and set up Steam again. Not sure why it keeps doing that, Volvo!

I question it, yet that's the course I'd take.

Windows version requested. Nvidia graphics driver needed. Direct X used by CS:GO would be helpful but not essential.

It could be that Nvidia is interfering with your game files, possibly due to a specific Direct X version or a bug in CS:GO.

I'm using Windows 10 but I'm unsure which drivers are installed since GeForce Experience isn't opening.
