The graphics card was switched to a Radeon R9 280X, and Fortnite exhibits significant lag due to large data inputs. The AMD system reports 60 frames per second, however, Fortnite displays 144 fps. Other games do not experience this issue.

High refresh rates can introduce a noticeable delay when displayed, resulting in a lag between your actions and what’s shown on screen. Please share images illustrating the frame rates you're observing – specifically, displays showing 60 frames per second and 144 frames per second.

When I close Fortnite, the AMD software calculates the average frame rate and displays 60fps or occasionally lower values. Additionally, I experience a noticeable input lag similar to vertical synchronization issues.

The refresh rate of a monitor, measured in Hertz, determines how many times per second that screen updates its image.

Despite updating my display device and cabling, as well as troubleshooting graphics drivers – which resolved temporarily before failing again – and adjusting game configurations within Fortnite and my AMD software, the issue persists.
