Let me explain something before you advise me to upgrade my hardware. My computer – an Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 with 4 GB of DDR2 RAM and a 2 GB Nvidia GTX 750 Ti – has been running smoothly for the last two years. I’m not playing demanding online games anymore; instead, I'm revisiting classic titles like Fallout 4 and The Witcher 3. Until recently, everything was perfectly functional, but today, whenever I launch a game, it immediately closes. However, other programs are working without issue. Could you assist me with this problem?
Could you please specify the manufacturer and model number of your power supply unit for this system?
Could you tell me which power supply unit (PSU) is powering your system? I’m unsure of the exact model, but it's a 500-watt unit. Here’s an image of the PSU for reference. Lately, your computer has begun to freeze intermittently, even though Fallout is running without issue. The freezing appears during BIOS loading and occasionally while playing Witcher 3.

Could you please specify the power supply unit (PSU) brand and model number that’s powering your system?
I'm unsure of the exact details, but my PSU is rated for 500 watts. Here’s an image of the power supply unit.
This might be useful, and recently my computer has begun to crash intermittently, despite Fallout running without issue. The freezing started during the initial BIOS loading process and has also occurred while playing Witcher 3. Determining the PSU's make and model is crucial for accurately diagnosing this problem. Simply stating that a 500-watt PSU was claimed to be 500 watts isn’t sufficient. Open your computer case and examine the label affixed to the PSU; this will provide the necessary information.

What power supply model is powering your system?
I’m unsure of the exact name, but it's a 500-watt PSU. Here’s an image of the power supply.
Hopefully, this assists you, and lately my computer has begun to freeze intermittently, despite Fallout running without problems. The freezing started when booting into the BIOS and has even occurred during gameplay in Witcher 3. Determining the specific model of your power supply is extremely helpful when trying to diagnose the problem. Simply because a PSU is rated for 500 watts doesn’t necessarily mean it's delivering that amount of power. Open the computer case and examine the label on the back of the power supply – the details are located there.
That could certainly be true, although I attempted to upload a photograph, but it appears to have vanished. Regardless, could you advise me on selecting the appropriate power supply when I purchase one in the future?
