Hello everyone! I installed the newest patch from Steam for MKX because it was required. Now the game freezes when it starts, freezing my entire desktop and making it unusable. It blocks access to Task Manager during the freeze. The only workaround is logging out of Windows 8.1 and back in. I've tried various fixes online—complete uninstallation and reinstalling, running the game as admin, deleting files—but nothing helped. I still remember the game working before the update with many bugs, but at least it ran. I'm considering reinstalling Steam and updating my VGA drivers. Any advice? My PC specs: X99 DELUXE i7 5960X, 32GB DDR4 RAM, ASUS STRIX 980 graphics in SLI.

Its the incompatibility between i7 5960x hyperthreading and MKX After latest patch install they screwed up the coding with hyperthreaded cpus and now the game crashes Once ive disabled hyperthreading from bios the game launched normally Now I have to wait for a new patch release and I opened a ticket with warner bros briefly describing the problem and drop the game for the moment because I want my hyperthreading enabled
