I haven’t played Fallout 4 recently and after getting a new GPU, I tried to check it out but the game crashed when I started playing. Steam stopped showing me in-game status. I removed all mods and reinstalled the game, but it still didn’t function properly. Could you give some more details?

Fallout 4 stores your user data in the "My Documents" directory, such as game settings. I’d consider removing that folder or at least the .ini files and then trying again. NOTE: If you delete the entire folder, you’ll lose all save files. It’s safer to delete the ini files first.
