So Ive downloaded PUBG and when I open the game. The game goes loading but the computer will suddenly shut down just right before entering the lobby.WTF??!! So Ive tried re-download the game many times on either SSD OR HDD.Ive also clean the dust in my computer completely and check all the parts connecting properly. And I also tried it with H1Z1(as they are quite similar games) and the same thing happened!!!But this time it shut down while queuing for a match. But I used to play H1Z1 fine with no problem at all(i had not play it for 4,5months tough). But my computer had no problem with other games like tf2,gta5,l4d2,sf2,Hitman and so on.It only happens on PUBG and H1Z1. Someone plz help me~~~~tell me if you need more info to solve this My system is Pentium G4560 Msi Mortar B250M Powercolor RX470 UMAX DDR4 4GB*2 Sandisk 120GB SSD Toshiba 160GB HDD PowerX 500W 80+Bronze

Are your system requirements met? If not, your setup struggles with intense multiplayer titles. Unless you resolve the issue and upgrade soon, consider returning the games until you're ready to play.

Only a handful of factors cause a computer to shut down abruptly while gaming. The primary causes are when the CPU reaches its thermal limits to avoid damage, or when there are problems with the power supply.

It's fine to enjoy the games; my friends can handle them even better. By the way, loading the game is really slow. Check this person out—they can run on the same CPU and GPU as me.

I verified with HWmonitor and it seems the issue might be with the PSU. I’ll replace the old unit with a new one if you want.

Open Event Viewer, examine System and Application logs. Check around the game shutdown time for warnings. Items like GPU or voltage manager might point to PSU or power problems. RAM issues are possible but less likely if others aren’t causing it. A failing hard drive or other strange errors could be involved. The viewer should help identify the cause.

Great idea but keep in mind the power RAM or GPU settings. There was one warning before the sudden shutdown alert—this one reads: "Product: Microsoft Visual C++ 2017 x64 Minimum Runtime - 14.10.25008 -- Error 1714. The older version of Microsoft Visual C++ 2017 x64 Minimum Runtime - 14.10.25008 cannot be removed. Contact your technical support group. System Error 1612." This alert appeared when I attempted to load the game. I’m not sure what it means, but you might want to check those settings.

Explore the options in programs and features to remove VC++ manually. Afterward, reinstall it on PUBG; it should set up automatically. Possible runtime problems may lead to crashes. There could be a corruption from the original 2017 release affecting performance. Use the provided link. Make sure to select x64 version.
