Hey everyone... when I play Dota 2, the game sometimes freezes for a few seconds—about 3 to 5. It only affects the Dota 2 app itself, making it unresponsive, but I can still control my mouse or press Alt+Tab. After that, everything returns to normal. I’m not sure why this happens suddenly inside the game, especially during hero play, and it only occurs once a day. The next match usually doesn’t have these issues, though they can still happen occasionally.
It seems the original Source game was never designed for streaming assets, which likely led to the classic stuttering issue. This problem probably got fixed in Source 2.
