My games and programs recently reported insufficient VRAM/RAM, but in Task Manager they rarely reach full capacity—sometimes not launching at all as if half my memory didn’t exist. I have recorded crash videos, though uploading them is tough because of large file limits. I’ve kept everything current and run a scan to check for issues. (If you missed anything, please tell me.) Your machine specs are: CPU AMD Ryzen 9 5900HS, GPU NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080, 16GB RAM, 2TB storage on two 1TB M.2 NVMe drives, BIOS version GA503QS.416, running Windows 11 Home x64, version 10.0.26100, build 26100.

Would you like to restart?
Or proceed by downloading RAMmap or ISLC and clearing the standby memory list?

I've already restarted, I'm going to try RAMmap now. Thanks for the suggestion!

I attempted RAMmap but couldn't find any indication that my RAM would drop below around 9 gigabytes. It seems to be stuck in an unusual state, occasionally reaching 10 gigabytes during certain times, though the pattern is completely unpredictable.

No, Task Manager does not display a high amount of memory listed as hardware reserved. It typically shows only the system's allocated RAM or swap space.

It doesn't say that, the system reserves 608MB for RAM, leaving the rest available
